Uncovering Wisdom through Medicine Stories

Stories have been an integral of our human evolution. Our ancestors received and shared wisdom through stories. Some stories were told to heal, as balm to the wounded so that they remember that they are whole. Somewhere along the way, this tradition of telling stories has been broken. Our effort here is to remember the stories of the Earth which can serve as a reminder that we are whole.

In this 90- minute journey, we are going to look at an indigenous way of story telling- these are called medicine stories. Keeping this as our context, through the contemporary practice of psychodrama, we will find and let go of the personal stories that no longer serve us, to embrace the larger story that we are a part of.
